Luke A Schlangen

Developer Advocate
Google

Luke is a developer advocate at Google who believes learning follows excitement. He finds it rewarding to give approachable talks for beginners, because everyone is a beginner at something. He previously taught at a coding bootcamp.

After that, he led an onboarding program for new software engineers at a Fortune 500 company. Now at Google, he likes to introduce newcomers to the power of the Cloud.

Outside of his day job, he is a co-founder of Code Championship: a competitive computer coding program for 3rd to 9th grade students.
